In 1948, driven by the desire to make silverware accessible to all, Guy Degrenne revolutionised the world of tableware.
With a clear vision in mind, the young entrepreneur had understood the potential of stainless steel for making cutlery and had started to appreciate the longing for modernity in France. With boldness, passion, and determination, he would go on to leave his mark on the tableware sector, and at the same time make his company a market leader.

A NEW JOURNEY BORN AT THE HEART OF THE GLORIOUS THIRTY
At the heart of the Glorious Thirty, and driven by a fervent desire for modernity, Guy Degrenne surrounded himself with architects, engineers, and designers to reinvent the new factory.
Today, Maison DEGRENNE is highlighting a new page of its heritage by offering visitors the opportunity to experience and share in its industrial & architectural heritage and interior design which has remained intact since its creation in 1967.

PROGRAM
The visit lasts approximately 1h30 and offers a tour around the different production lines within the DEGRENNE manufacturing plant. Find out more about the different manufacturing stages your cutlery goes through, as well more about our unique industrial expertise: deep drawing, polishing, laser cutting, rolling, etc.
This incredible journey, which showcases the remarkable history of the Brand, takes place in spaces rarely revealed to the general public: from the factory, with its splendid architectural history, to the boardroom , take a trip down memory lane to the Glorious Thirty.
The visit ends in the Brand's dedicated boutique.

Please arrive at the welcome desk 15 minutes prior to the start of your guided tour.
Suitable for children over 4 years of age.
Not suitable for persons with reduced mobility.
Masks must be worn for the duration of the visit.
Safety shoes and a yellow vest will be available for hire during the visit. These will be disinfected between visits.
