COOKIES POLICY

In accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), DEGRENNE has implemented a policy regarding the use of cookies on its website.

1. What is a cookie?

Cookies are data that are sent to your computer when you visit a website. Cookies allow us to automatically recognise you on each visit and in this way to personalise your experience and provide you with a better quality of service. We also use cookies (and similar browser data, such as Flash cookies) for fraud prevention, for example.

During your first visit to the site, or during a visit after deleting the cookies installed on your computer, you can accept, or reject, the installation of cookies by following the instructions specified in point 4 below.

Cookies are kept for 30 to 90 days maximum following your acceptance.

2. Who deposits the cookies?

The cookies placed on your terminal from our site can be deposited by DEGRENNE or by third parties.

Internal cookies are used by the site that you are visiting and can only be read by it, namely by DEGRENNE.

Third-party cookies come from a number of our service providers who place cookies on our site or have access to the data collected by these cookies. DEGRENNE ensures that the issuing and use of cookies on their part is carried out in compliance with the regulations in force.

For more information on the different cookies used, please visit the cookie management chart which lists the completeness and detailed purpose of these.

3. What cookies do we use?

Four (4) main types of cookies are used on the DEGRENNE site, the purposes of which are described below.

3.1. The cookies strictly required for the operation of the Degrenne website

These are essential cookies for the normal functioning of the website. These allow you to navigate the site safely and use the various services and features. They allow you, for example, to directly access reserved and personal spaces on our site, thanks to identifiers or data that you have previously provided to us.

Not allowing these cookies prevents normal use of our site: that’s why these are compulsory to browse the site.

3.2. Functional cookies

These are cookies that collect information about the way in which visitors use the site, they monitor the website’s performance and they are used to recognise and store user’s preferences. These cookies also allow smooth and bespoke browsing.

Not allowing these cookies or deleting them later will therefore prevent you from benefiting from the functions described above.

3.3  Analytical cookies

These are cookies which allow us to get to know the usage and the performance of the site, to establish statistics, volumes of visitors and usage of various elements of the site. These various measures will allow us to improve interest and usability of the services offered. These cookies also allow us to count visitors to a web page.

Not allowing the use of such cookies or deleting them later does not affect browsing on the site but is likely to prevent us from ensuring the best quality of services that we wish to offer to our visitors.

3.4  Advertising cookies

These are cookies allowing us to put forward advertisements relevant to interests. They limit the number of times that you see an advert and help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These cookies are mostly third party cookies.

Not accepting these advertising cookies has no impact on the use of our site and will not stop the advertising; it will only result in you seeing advertisements that do not take your preferences into account.
