CAPTURING NATURE
At the heart of our SUPERNATURE and AQUATIC SUPERNATURE collections lies an organic, unexpected and profoundly realistic decorative style of imprinted wood bark that gives every impression of being captured in the material itself. The textured bark motif appeared first on our Limoges porcelain SUPERNATURE tableware.
Present on only one segment of each piece, it gently merges into the smooth surface of the rest of the piece. This almost imperceptible transition highlights the meticulous glazing and deglazing expertise of the artisan craftsmen at the DEGRENNE factory in Limoges.
AQUATIC SUPERNATURE
The AQUATIC SUPERNATURE textured cutlery collection is made in France at the historic DEGRENNE factory at Vire in the Calvados department of Normandy.
The wood bark grain relief runs the full length of the handles, and contrasts brilliantly with the mirror-polished working sections of each piece. The striking play of light that accompanies the delicate interplay of textures highlights the precision with which the dies they are made from have been meticulously crafted by DEGRENNE artisan craftsmen.
